Brazil sells 84% of 2010/11 soy crop
Brazilian record 2010/11 soy crop's sales hit 84% of the total output, increasing by 1% from the previous week, according to analysts Celeres on Monday (Aug 22).
The new crop will begin planting season on September 15. Sales of that new crop reached 13% of the expected output of 74.9 million tonnes. This is 1% more than the sales of 2010 at this time.
Brazil is the world's second biggest soy producer and exporter after the US.
