Starting from the second quarter of 2011, soymeal was mainly imported from Russia, which became the leader of deliveries to Ukraine in a short period of time.
Thus, the geography of soymeal imports to Ukraine in September-July of the 2010/11 marketing year was as follows: Russia - 12,000 tonnes, Brazil - 5,500 tonnes, Argentina - 4,200 tonnes, Germany - 4,000 tonnes, Poland - 2,300 tonnes, and the Netherlands - 2,000 tonnes.
Traditionally, soymeal is used to feed birds, so its main buyers are market leaders Myronivsky Hliboproduct and Askop.
