China's Heilongjiang to establish large-scale grain logistics group

Heilongjiang Province plans to establish a super large grain logistics group through consolidation and asset mergers.

The logistics group would be one of the secondary projects in the Province's strategic plan of forming a 50 million-tonne grain output capacity.

The province said it will provide guidance to the large grain logistics enterprises through the Province's General Bureau of State Farms, which would cooperate with the group on state-owned grain purchases.

Heilongjiang is one of China's most important grain producing provinces, accounting for up to two-thirds of the country's soy production.
