Vietnam's foreign breeding firms lower breeding chick price

Since August 13, foreign breeding companies such as C.P Company, Emivest Feedmill Company and Jafpa Comfeed Long An Company has adjusted to lower the price of one-day breeding chick by VND2,000-3, 000 (US$0.10-$0.15).

Average price is VND17,000-18,000 (US$0.82-$0.87) per chick in Southeast provinces.

General Director of Jafpa Breeding Company, Nguyen Quoc Trung said that companies must decrease price because farmers' demand of buying breeding chicken saturates and traders stop to transport breeding chicken to Northeast provinces and Cambodia.
