China sets up new seed administration bureau
China's Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) is setting up a seed administration bureau to meet the demand of industry development, sources said.
The new bureau, which is an upgrade of the current seed office under the ministry's planting management division, is scheduled to go into operation in early September.
It is to help strengthen the management and supervision of crop seeds industry, and leading seed enterprises are expected to benefit.
