China's largest agricultural export base to be built in Shenyang

Shenyang City will be home to China's largest Inspection-Free Agricultural Product Export Base, municipal authorities said Monday ( August 11, 2008).

The 33,000-hectare site would use Faku County and Liaozhong County's Yangtupu as agricultural product export demonstration areas.

Approval is yet to be granted by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine but authorities are working to ensure it is granted before December.
