Denmark's pig sector stabilising
Following the decline in Danish pig market last year, there are now signs that the market is stabilising.
At the start of July 2008, Denmark had 12.35 million pigs, down 9.5 percent on-year. Sow population was also 8.5-percent lower on-year in July, but the number of sows has remained constant since spring.
