Vietstock trade event to see over 400 enterprises in attendance in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Over 400 enterprises are expected to attend Vietnam's Premier International Feed, Livestock, Aquaculture & Meat Industry Show (Vietstock) to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on October 9-11.

The event will provide an ideal venue for businesses to introduce advanced technologies, discuss new trends, and address challenges faced by the livestock and aquaculture industries in the country and wider ASEAN region.

Duong Tat Thang, director of the Department of Livestock under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, said there is an aim to involve the participation of more than 400 exhibitors and welcome 13,000 visitors from 50 countries to Vietstock.

An international exhibition, called Aquaculture Vietnam 2024, will also be held as part of the efforts to help visitors gain greater insights into the entire value chain of the Vietnamese livestock and aquaculture industries.

Six seminars and workshops will be organised throughout the course of the event. The goal of these programmes is to provide forums for farmers, the business community, scientists, and managers to share information to devise development orientations for the livestock industry in a more sustainable way.
