Duc's sales increase 13.4% in H1

French poultry producer Duc said yesterday (Aug 11) its total revenue increased by 13.4% from January-June this year to EUR90.13 million (US$127.9 million), boosted by the rise of prices and product reorganisation.

In the second quarter, sales increased by 14.2% to EUR46.5 million (US$66 million).

Nonetheless, the company complained of a difficult market. The group's development projects will go ahead and Duc hopes to strengthen its market share.

In June, Duc had forecast a revenue of EUR180 million (US$225.4 million) for the full-year, up 12% compared to 2010.
