13 ASF outbreaks reported in Russia
Nearly 4,000 pigs in Russia have either died or been destroyed due to outbreaks of the African swine fever (ASF), according to a news report.
Thirteen new outbreaks of ASF have been reported in the southwest of the country, the pigsite.com reported.
It said 12 of the outbreaks were on pig farms and one affected wild boar.
A total of 18,605 pigs were found susceptible, 82 cases were reported and almost 4,000 pigs died or were culled.
