India may join Belarus's dairy upgrade plans

India sees many business opportunities for local investors in Belarus especially in the dairy sector, according to a diplomat.

"Grodno CHP-plant 2 is a very good start. There are other areas. I have already mentioned pharmaceuticals and tourism. Manufacturing sector also offers many opportunities," said Manoj Kumar Bharti.

The Indian Ambassador said that "some dairy facilities in Belarus need to be upgraded and outfitted with new technologies." Indian companies have experience which can be put to good use, said the diplomat.

The Indian Ambassador would like "the Indian dynamic and rich private sector to see all the investment opportunities in Belarus and come here."
