Asia's largest extruded soy base to be built in China's Jilin

Asia's largest extruded soy and grain production base has been established by Jingu Expanded Feed Co., Ltd. in Da'an City of Jilin Province.

The news was announced at the Da'an 2008 Feedstuff Industrial Development and Animal Breeding Forum. Da'an is on the borders between Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces two of China's largest grain producers.

According to the Forum, the grain and soy extrusion processing technique can improve animal digestion by 7 percent-13 percent, thus allowing the Province to save on grain usage.

Currently, the American Soy Association has designated Jingu Expanded Feed an international cooperation project.
