Merial launches effervescent poultry vaccine in Malaysia

Merial has launched its effervescent poultry vaccine for Newcastle disease, Avinew Neo, in Malaysia.

The launch took place on July 21 at the Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and was attended by almost 120 customers, poultry producers, poultry veterinarians, university deans and government officials.

The vaccine registration for Avinew Neo was approved by the Department of Veterinary Services Malaysia earlier in April, and Malaysia is the third country in Asia for the launch, after the Philippines and Vietnam.

Avinew Neo is distributed by animal health company Rhone Ma in Malaysia.
