VIV Qingdao 2020 introduces online trade match-making programme
VIV Qingdao is the sole and only successor of a previous VIV event held in China and has been organised since 2000 in the country, said organiser VIV.
VNU Exhibitions Asia and its VIV team in Shanghai, with the full support of VNU Europe, seek to link show attendees with professionals in pork, poultry, egg, aquaculture and dairy productions. For this special edition, VIV Qingdao 2020 will add to the event an online dimension dedicated to facilitate ongoing and new business needs in this period of travel restrictions and the need for smart working solutions.
VIV Qingdao 2020 will take place on September 17-19 as scheduled. In order to overcome the current barriers that international exhibitors and visitors are facing in doing business with the Chinese market, the organisers designed an online match making system to provide digital connection between supply and demand and to allow and provide opportunities for online appointments by selecting profiles and meeting from remote via video.
In addition, professional buyers will have the opportunity to enjoy more benefits while participating in the match-making online programme:
- Amazon gift cards of U$100 will be delivered to profiles who complete at least five verified match-making online meetings during the exhibition period;
- In September, the organisers will select 30 top buyers among the users of the match-making tool and award the hosted buyer benefits for VIV Qingdao 2021, including free accommodation in a luxury hotel, free lunch buffet and onsite transportation.
In order to facilitate continued learning and deliver the latest insights regardless the current circumstances, most of the contents and seminars presented at VIV Qingdao will take place during show days, at the same time as online workshops and webinars.
VIV Qingdao 2020 is committed to integrate global exhibitors and visitors, bringing together animal husbandry professionals to connect, learn and trade both face-to-face and online.
