Sales of methionine remained slow in China as feed millers withhold buying with stocks ample. Moreover, the demand for poultry feed failed to pick up while the broiler and egg market showed little improvement. Hence, methionine distributors and traders held prices low in efforts to move sales.

 

Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were at RMB28-29.50/kg, lower by RMB0-0.30/kg.
