China auctions 10,000 tonnes frozen pork from state reserves

 

 

China sold 10,000 tonnes of frozen pork from state reserves on July 30, according to the China Merchandise Reserve Management Center, Reuters reported.

 

China has already sold more than 400,000 tonnes of pork from reserves this year to tame prices that have soared after the deadly African swine fever decimated the domestic pig herd.
