BASF Animal Nutrition Asia Pacific relocates to Singapore

The BASF Animal Nutrition Asia Pacific team has relocated to Singapore from Hong Kong in July 2016.

The team is led by Stephen Crisp, vice director of BASF Animal Nutrition Asia Pacific. A veteran of the animal nutrition industry, Crisp has been heading the team since 2011. With the move, the team has also welcomed new members.

In product management, Jessie Sie-Tho and Carlos Flores are responsible for performance ingredients and essential ingredients respectively. Sie-Tho spent five years with BASF's Professional & Specialty Solutions and has more than 15 years of commercial and marketing experience. Flores joined the team after his four years' stint in marketing with BASF Crop Protection Asia Pacific.

To provide customers support in technical and application management, BASF has nine technical specialists based in selected countries across the region. The management of this regional technical team is performed by Dr. Lily Li who is now also based in Singapore.

"As an innovative supplier to the feed industry, it is important for us to understand and anticipate the needs of our customers in meeting the growing global meat, milk and egg demand while saving the planet's resources and environment", said Crisp, "Bringing our high quality products to the Asian customers forms an integral part of the BASF growth strategy."
