Czech Republic's meat output declines in Q2

 

 

Czech Republic's meat production dropped 5.6% on year to 128,900 tonnes between April and June this year.

 

The lowest decrease was recorded for the production of pork (by 1.9%), beef (by 3.3%) and a significant on year decrease was recorded for poultry (by 11.7%).

 

Dairies bought 582.7 million litres of milk (some 0.5% down on year) at an average price of CZK8.26/litre (US$0.49). This represents a growth in the average price by 14.1%, according to the information provided by the Czech Statistical Office.
