Vietnam's ANV H1 net profit dives 75.5%

Nam Viet Seafood JSC (ANV), listed on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange, reported a net profit of VND11.1 billion (US$538,800) in the first half of this year, marking an on-year decrease of 75.5%

Revenues decreased 2% on-year to VND2 trillion (US$97 million) during January-June, it said in its consolidated quarterly financial report.

In the second quarter, ANV netted a profit of VND10.8 billion (US$525,000) on revenues of VND469.9 billion (US$22.8 million), down 53.4% and up 25% on-year, respectively.

Its total assets rose 2% from end-2010 to VND1.97 trillion (US$96 million) at end-June, including equity of VND1.4 trillion (US$68 million).
