Land O'Lakes appoints new chief marketing officer

 


US agriculture co-op Land O'Lakes, Inc. has announced in mid-July the appointment of Heather Malenshek as its chief marketing officer effective September 8, 2020.


In this capacity, Malenshek will oversee B2C and B2B branding and marketing strategy and is responsible for building marketing competencies across all businesses and geographies. She will also have oversight for FLM Harvest, a wholly owned subsidiary of Land O'Lakes, Inc.

Malenshek joins Land O'Lakes most recently from her own consultancy and from Harley-Davidson Motor Company where she served as chief marketing officer.


She previously worked with a wide range of brands and broad categories including financial services, pharmaceuticals, motorcycles, automotive, food and beverage and pet care.


She was recently recognised by Forbes as one of the world's most influential CMOs in 2018 and 2019.
