Methionine market remains weak in China
Prices of methionine softened further during the week ending July 27.
Egg prices rebounded of late while broiler prices continued to move higher. Nonetheless, the demand for methionine failed to firm up as poultry inventories remained low.
For liquid methionine, price quotes remained in the range of RM28-29/kg.
