Syria buys 127,000 tonnes of Black Sea wheat
Syria has purchased a total of 127,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat from the Black Sea region in two separate tenders, according to European traders on Wednesday (Jul 27).
Some 100,000 tonnes of Black Sea origin wheat, thought likely to be Russia, was purchased in a tender for the same volume which closed on July 25. A further 27,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat was purchased in a tender for the same volume which closed on July 12.
