China imports more rapeseed in June
 

 

China imported 61,000 tonnes of rapeseed in June, 60,000 tonnes more than in May, sources reported.

 

In the first half of this year the country imported 323,000 tonnes of rapeseed, down 60.6% on-year.

 

Meanwhile, the government had sold 55,036 tonnes of state corn reserves at around RMB1,960 (US$304)/tonne as well as 30,401 tonnes of wheat reserves in auctions in Anhui province on Tuesday (Jul 26), the National Grain and Oil Trade Centre said.

 

The volumes of corn and wheat sold accounted for 61.4% and 8.19% of those which were auctioned, respectively.
