Danisco appoints new regional director

Danisco Animal Nutrition has promoted Jose Manuel de la Fuente Garcia from business director to regional director of Europe, Africa, Middle East and India, effective August 1, 2011.

De la Fuente Garcia will continue to operate out of the Madrid office base and will report to Andrew Harker, Danisco Animal Nutrition's business unit director.

Since joining Danisco in 2000, de la Fuente Garcia has been responsible for developing sales in Southern Europe and Benelux, contributing substantially to growth in the region, particularly Danisco's strong market position in Southern Europe.

"I look forward to continuing to drive and develop the business with the EUROW team to maintain our market leader position and build an even stronger foundation in the market place," de la Fuente Garcia said.
