Vietnam's seafood export value shows increase
Vietnam is estimated to have earned US$3.136 billion from exporting seafood in the first seven months of this year, representing an on-year rise of 26.1%.
In July, the country's seafood exports are expected at US$530 million, compared to US$519 million in June, according to the government's General Statistics Office (GSO).
During January-July, the Southeast Asian country has spent US$252 million on imports of aquatic materials, including US$40 million in July and US$34 million in June.
Exports of seafood brought about US$5 billion to Vietnam last year. The country expects the exports to rise to US$5.5 billion this year.
