Ukraine is looking to import beef from the Netherlands and Germany.

The State Committee of Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine may conduct an inspection on the production control systems of German and Dutch beef in order to import the products, according to the committee's press service.

The committee has already inspected Dutch and German animal health surveillance systems in order to import cattle from the two countries.

Ukraine has inspected 15 Polish and 35 Hungarian pig farms since the start of the year so that they could export pigs to Ukraine. The committee has also inspected 35 Brazilian, 66 Polish and four Hungarian meat-reprocessing firms.
