Iran starts dairy exports to Dubai

Iran's first shipment of milk, at 100 tonnes, was dispatched to the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday (Jul 20).

The Managing Director of Iran's Agricultural & Animal Husbandry Company (FKA), Jamshid Jalilnejad, said his company has signed a contract with Dubai to export 100 tonnenes of milk per day for a period of one year.

The high quality and decent price of Iranian milk makes it attractive for other countries to import, he added.
