Cautious mood holds China methionine prices flat
Prices of methionine stayed flat during the week ending July 12.
Reduced poultry feed intake due to the hot summer climate hampered the sales of feed in conjunction with weak broiler and egg prices. Poultry feed manufacturers were therefore reluctant to increase methionine stockpiles.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine remained in the range of RMB28.80-29.50/kg.
