Russian veterinary authority inspects French meat plants
Rosselkhoznadzor, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, has finished inspections of French plants producing veterinary controlled food products for shipment into the Customs Union.
As previously reported Rosselkhoznadzor experts along with the members of the French Veterinary Services performed a joint inspection of 19 French plants producing animal products (milk products, beef, pork, poultry meat, ready-to eat food products) for their compliance with the animal health requirements and standards of the Customs Union and Russia.
Rosselkhoznadzor announced the completion of the inspection Tuesday (Jul 12). The data obtained during the inspection are being summarised and evaluated.
