Two groups of South Korean feed makers bought 165,000 tonnes of worldwide wheat in a private deal early this week, traders said on Friday.

The Korea Feed Association (KFA) and Major Feedmill Group purchased three cargoes of wheat for December and January arrivals at US$360 per tonne including cost and freight, they said.

They purchased two cargoes of 55,000 tonnes from Toepfer International due to arrive to the port of Incheon on Dec. 20 and Jan 10 and one cargo of 55,000 tonnes from Glencore set to arrive to the port of Gunsan and Ulsan in January.
