Indonesia bans US poultry due to bird flu
Indonesia has banned imports of poultry and poultry products from the US due to bird flu.
Indonesia has restricted imports of US poultry and poultry products because the US is not yet free from bird flu, according to Veterinary Health Director Turni Rusli Sjamsir.
The US has reported to the WHO about bird flu cases in Arkansas, Washington. Aside from Indonesia, the Philippines have also put poultry imports from Arkansas on suspension.
