Rotecna's thermally stable 1.2m length heating panels
Rotecna has created a line of hydraulic heated panels that prevent temperature fluctuations, thereby creating and maintaining a comfortable temperature for all stages of swine life including farrowing, weaning and wean to finish.
The panels are 1.2m tall and come in three widths: 400mm, 500mm and 600 mm. Farmers can personalise hogs pens based on their needs by using the panels in various configurations.
The hydraulic panels make use of water's ability to retain and accumulate heat. As the heating circuit heats up water in the panels, thermal inertia is generated. This inertia keeps the surface of the panels at a constant and even temperature, thereby preventing drastic temperature changes.
The heating panels are robust, easy to install and are compatible with all heating circuits. There is also lower thermal insulation and it features non-slip tread.
Besides being easy to install, another feature of the panels is the four-part "out-dirt" panel support that helps to maintain hygiene levels by preventing dirt from accumulating. In addition, the internal tank is easy to fill through the wide upper hole and the "non-air" system prevents air pockets from forming inside it.
Bouwimpex's plastic Bouwplast-plus FR (fire-resistant) panels
First to have been tested and approved by the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) for fire class B
Bouwimpex's new plastic Bouwplast-plus FR (fire-resistant) panels have been tested and approved by the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) for fire [prevention] class B.
The first ready-made solution to livestock shed fire safety issues, these plastic walls are quicker to install, more flexible and less expensive than a brick-built wall.
Fire issues are a serious concern in livestock sheds and agricultural buildings. The Netherlands government is currently sorting measures to limit the consequences of livestock shed fires. Thus, this innovation came in time for the increasingly stringent fire and safety compliance requirements for agricultural buildings in the Netherlands.
With greater considerations being paid to preventing livestock shed fires in the Netherlands, this new product has put Bouwimpex at the forefront of providing fire safety solutions for agricultural infrastructure.
