Press Release
Diamond V has continued its growth with the construction of a new worldwide headquarters, and the expansion of its second, recently constructed, manufacturing plant.
Groundbreaking occurred recently for a new, US$4.5 million, 17,000 square-foot (1,580 sq metre), worldwide headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Indiana, USA, scheduled to open in July 2012.
The new headquarters will support a 65% increase in administrative, technical service and sales support personnel, and provide additional space for training and client meetings. The planned new high-technology headquarters will be located on the 77-acre (30.8-hectare) Diamond V campus in Cedar Rapids.
The campus also contains a recently constructed manufacturing plant, which is undergoing a US$12.5 million expansion for a production capacity increase of 40%.
"Our continued growth results from a singular focus on microbial fermentation technology, really understanding the technology, and being the best at using it in the world," says John Bloomhall, President and CEO of Diamond V. "We utilize our science, research and expertise in fermentation technology to develop all-natural nutrition and health solutions."
