Brazil pork exports rise for April

Brazil's pork export volumes for April have increased compared to a month earlier, but is lower than in the same period last year.

According to the latest figures from ABIPECS, Brazil exported 47,734 tonnes of pork in April, down by 6.30%, compared to the previous year.

The value of export sales in April was US$125,216 million, down 13.89%, compared to April 2011.
