China Whey Weekly: Prices surge 50% since April (week ended Jun 26, 2016)
Supplies of whey were inadequate even though imports have increased in May by 10% to 43,000 tonnes. Meanwhile, increased inventories of sow, albeit gradual, has pushed up the demand for quality hog feed and hence whey.
