Shandong Rongcheng imports broilers from France for the first time

China Animal Husbandry Group had recently imported 17,888 broilers from France, and the batch had arrived at Rongcheng, Shandong earlier this week. The broilers are now in a 30-days quarantine period. This is Rongcheng's first batch of imported broilers from France. 

Due to the avian influenza outbreak in the United States earlier this year, China has suspended all poultry imports from the United States. Therefore, many companies are now looking at other alternatives.
