Produmix welcomes Taiwanese swine industry delegation to Spanish facilities
In May this year, Produmix welcomed to its facilities in Spain a group consisting of top distributors, farmers and technical advisers in Taiwan's swine sector.
The aim of the visit was to better understand the production process of basemixes for piglets, tour a trial farm, and receiving in-depth knowledge of Produmix's products which are popular in Taiwan.
Produmix personnel exchanged their views on the current situation in the Taiwanese swine market, and the solutions that Produmix products offer, as well as new requirements and challenges to surmount.
According to the company, advances in genetics have led to hyper-prolific sows, which produce bigger litters, but with higher weight variability. With Produmix's R + D + I Department, the company has managed to develop technologically advanced products that - in addition to providing an optimal, safe and profitable growth of animals - also help improve the homogeneity in different litters.
