Alltech to buy over Coppens International

Coppens International, a developer of fish feed, will be acquired by Alltech, the former announced.

The future merger will facilitate delivery of the latest innovative aquatic feeds to producers across more than 60 countries, including the Netherlands, France, Germany and Australia. It will also avail superior nutrition and technical solutions supported by Alltech's robust scientific research.

"You can expect business as usual from us. The same range of brands, products and solutions will be available, and there will be no changes to our normal operations, including billing and orders," Coppens said. "We believe this development unlocks an abundance of opportunities for aquatic producers globally."
