Slack demand drags down China methionine prices
Prices of methionine were mostly lower during the week ending June 22.
Although prices of broilers were stable, egg prices continued to weakened, dampening the confidence of feed millers. Methionine sellers cut prices further over the week in efforts to stimulate buying.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine dropped to the range of RMB41-42/kg, falling by RMB1-2/kg.
