Arab poultry industry players form new non-profit organisation

 

 

A new association, comprising of representatives from poultry producer associations in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Bahrain, Algeria, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, has been established.

 

Called the Union of Arab Poultry Producers, the non-profit organisation is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and will aim to help poultry farmers in Arab countries enhance production of poultry and eggs through workshops, training events and conferences.

 

Membership is open to poultry farmers, poultry associations and related research centres throughout the Arab world.

 

The Union of Arab Poultry Producers will be officially launched at the second edition of EuroTier Middle East in March 2022 in Abu Dhabi, where more than 1,000 poultry producers from various Arab countries are expected.

 

Representatives from the various poultry producer associations and unions will gather to hold the first general assembly and elect board members and a president.
