China's May soy imports up 4% on-year
China's soy imports in May rose 4% to 4.56 million tonnes, the General Administration of Customs said Tuesday (Jun 21).
Confirming data released earlier this month, customs said total soy imports in the first five months fell 1% to 19.41 million tonnes.
China is the world's biggest importer of soy and gets most of its supplies from the US, Brazil and Argentina, the world's leading soy producers.
