China lysine prices surge 20% in eight weeks
 

 

Lysine prices moved higher during the week ending June 21.

 

Sales of lysine remained strong as soymeal prices continued to surge, prompting feed producers to expand stocks. Meanwhile, corn prices rebounded substantially lately, lending further support to the lysine market.

 

For imported 98.5-percent lysine, transacted prices climbed to RMB10.90-11.35/kg.
