BASF increases prices for dimethylaminopropylamine and dimethylacetamide in Europe
Effective immediately, BASF is increasing its sales prices for dimethylaminopropylamine and dimethylacetamide in Europe.
The price increase is as follow:
Dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA) + EUR100 (US$142) per tonne
Dimethylacetamide (DMAC) + EUR120 (US$171) per tonne
These methylamine derivatives are versatile chemical intermediates with a wide range of applications, such as agrochemicals, water treatment and personal care. DMAC also has a broad variety of uses as a solvent. BASF produces methylamines and their derivatives at its sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany; Geismar, Louisiana; Nanjing, China; and Camaçari, Brazil.
