Strong buying interest lifts China lysine prices
Lysine prices increased prominently during the week ending June 14.
Escalating soymeal prices prompted feed millers to increase lysine stockpiles while lifting the inclusion rates of the amino acid in the feed formulation.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were mainly in the range of RMB5-5.30/kg.
Soymeal market should remain firm in the coming period lending support to lysine demand.
