Denmark's Idavang builds pig farm in Pskov
Danish company Idavang has started building a pig farm worth a total of RUB1.6 billion (US$569 million) in Russia's Pskov Region, the regional government's press office said on Wednesday (June 15).
Idavang has already invested RUB200 million (US$7.1 million) of its own funds into the project.
The annual production capacity of the farm is projected at 10,000 tonnes of pork. The first stage of the project is expected to be launched in March–May 2012.
