Australia increases wheat production forecast for 2011-12

Australia, the fourth-largest shipper of wheat, increased its production output forecast of the grain to 26.2 million tonnes in 2011-12.

Wheat output may be 26.2 million tonnes in 2011-12, compared with a March 1 estimate of 24.3 million tonnes, the Canberra-based Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences said today.
