CBOT wheat and soy falls, beef and pork prices mostly up
CBOT grain futures traded mixed on Thursday (Jun 9), while beef and pork futures rose or remained flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Wheat for July delivery fell 3 cents to US$7.45 a bushel; July corn jumped 21.50 cents to US$7.8550 a bushel; while July soy fell 7.75 cents to US$13.9375 a bushel.
August live cattle rose 0.87 cents to US$1.0542 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.52 cents to US$1.2532 a pound; July lean hogs rose 1.62 cents to 92.97 cents a pound; while July pork bellies were unchanged at US$1.21 a pound.
