China lysine market stays firm but lacks momentum to move higher

Lysine prices were unchanged during the week ending June 8.

Soymeal prices surged further during early parts of the week, lending support to lysine procurements. However, with the Dragon Boat Festival holidays approaching, sales slowed as feed millers gradually halted operation, hence putting a lid on the prices.

Average prices stayed at RMB8.38/kg.

RMB1=US$0.1524 (Jun 9)
