The international team of Aviagen's Arbor Acres^® (AA) recently supported its local distributor, Arbor Acres Algerie^® (AAA), at the Salon International de L'Agriculture en Algerie (SIPSA) event in Algeria.
 

Held in May this year in Algiers, the four-day event welcomed a host of international organisations and showcased products and firms from the agricultural and forestry industries.

Three of Aviagen's AA international team members, including technical manager Andre Costa, sales manager Alain Silvin and international commercial manager Puzant Dakessian, were present in SIPSA to provide support at AAA's stand as well as strengthening industrial ties.

"It was a very successful event for AA in what is an increasingly important market for us," Silvin said. "Our stand was always buzzing with people; very busy and active with visitors in and out all of the time, which was great to see. The AAA team members were on hand to answer questions or hold meetings."

In addition, Silvin voiced his optimism about the future of the Algerian poultry industry given the current size of the market which continues to grow.

"We are investing in this business and in Algeria for the long term, as we strive to secure a higher quality and quantity of local protein to Algerian people," Dr. Hocine Allali, the sales and technical manager of AAA, said. "We believe in the future of this industry as we contribute to the growth and progress of poultry with our local capabilities and the support of international knowledge and experience."
