Iranian seafood exports hit US$160 million last year
Iran's seafood exports surged drastically in the last Iranian year that ended on March 20, according to the caretaker of Iran Fisheries Organisation.
Seyyed Mohammad A. Taghavi Motlagh said that in the last year, Iran exported 44,500 tonnes of seafood valued at US$160 million.
The exports increased 32.5% in terms of volume and 66.1%in terms of value, respectively, Taghavi Motlagh added.
